Transec Ltd offers an extensive range of services to the many different port users as indicated below. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Discharge Tally, Loading & Inspection Services
a) Break Bulk Cargo
Pre-discharge and loading inspection of the cargo both on the ships and within warehouses, discharge tally survey and issuance of vessel outturn reports and statement of facts as well as comments on any probable cause of damage if any.
b) Containerized Cargo
Provision of chief tally clerks, bay clerks, tally clerks, tracking clerks, berth controllers and clerks for receiving export cargo. This team works in conjunction with the Port Authorities and the principals agents to ensure successful operation and issuance of outturn reports and statement of facts.
c) RoRo Vessels
Provision of chief tally clerks and tally clerks who undertake the discharge tally/inspection of vehicles before discharge from the vessel and/or loading onto the ship. The team will document and report on any pre-shipment damage and any damage(s) caused during the course of the operation is also noted, thereafter vessel outturn reports and statement of facts are issued.
d) Project Cargo Vessels
The pre-discharge/loading inspection of the cargo by the experienced cargo inspectors before the commencement of the discharge / loading operation.
Cargo Discharge Superintendence
The deployment of competent personnel to mobilize the discharge operation, in liaison with the stevedores by ensuring the quality handling of cargo and quick turn-around of breakbulk, roro, and container vessels whilst exercising due diligence at all times. ship. The team will document and report on any pre-shipment damage and any damage(s) caused during the course of the operation is also noted, thereafter vessel outturn reports and statement of facts are issued.
Ships Security Services
The provision of an experienced team of guards comprising of ex-seamen who have undergone thorough in house training and awareness covering all basic requirements in line with the I.S.P.S code.
